I need this girl, any advice?

i have liked this girl for a while but she has had a boyfriend for the last 6 months until recently they broke up and i dont know what i should do...before they broke up she told me that when her and her boyfriend broke up that i would have to take her to dinner to help her get over him. And we have gone to the movies several times during her relationship and the first one she basically ended up in my lap but i felt like it was not right to let her cheat on him so i didnt let it go further and another time i went and saw a scary movie and we ended up holding hands THE WHOLE time. im just confused because me and her have been friends for a lonnnnnngggg time and i just want to tell her how i feel but i dont want to get shut down. The biggest problem is that rumors are going around that i like her and i havent said anything and idk i just need help...I love her but i dont know what to do, any advice?I need this girl, any advice?

she seems to like you if she was willing to cheat on her bf for you..and she told you you had to take her to dinner thats like hint hint to you buddy...you need to get in there and make the move im serious...just talk to her girls are easy to talk to they really are...

He s been a very good friend after the break up and took me to diners and was there to listen to my pain...


Then one night I was really down and he came with take out. We stayed on the couch for a while just watching tv and hugging me to confort me... and he kissed me.


He didn t push for more, he respected that I wasn t ready for more at the time, but he made the move.


And he was right cause I was too confused to initiate it although I wanted to...


So my advice is ACT ! Dont discuss the pros and cons, if you like her that much, just kiss her, but dont be pushy... and pay attention to her reaction. She might need the affection, but not the rest so give her time...
Tell her! Before prince charming comes and sweep her off her feet. I know it's a thin line bewteen loving and actually being in love with bestfriend but life is all about risks, if you never take it you could be regretting it for the rest of your life. And when you tell make sure you're convincing as well. Take her out to somewhere nice for the occasion to let her know how serious you really are.
