Ok so i live in california but he lives in hawaii now.
We have been together for 2 years an goin strong, im going to marry him.
Im planning to move in november of this year
The longest we've lived together is 1 month and i liked it.
ok so, i just want to know how it is at frist, or what i should do to make it more comfortable?
and advice or anything?Im moving in with my boyfriend in Hawaii, any advice? GIRLS AND GUYS PLEASE ANSWER?
here somethings to work out BEFORE you get there... can you support yourself without him? do you have a job set up or do expect him to support you? do you have your own car or do you plan on sharing his? have you already worked out the bills? do you have a joint account or separate? have you talked about the household chores and broken them up? have you visited him there several times there and are familiar with his apt/house and the area where he lives? is it HIS place your are moving into or your place together, sometimes the mentality doesn't change unless you have both picked out the place together.. do you agree with the furniture and how the place is decorated? if not would he oppose changing it around? make sure the place is comfortable and set up for BOTH of you, not just one or the other. do you know anyone else there besides him? do you have hobbies you can do there without him? are you already engaged? are you BOTH on the same page about moving in together (some guys think of it as a test drive, not a step closer to engagement)? or are you the only one that is sure your going to get married (some women make that mistake and the guy isn't on the same page about it)?
the main thing is not to expect everything to just work itself out. living with anyone is difficult and communication is KEY. good luck.Im moving in with my boyfriend in Hawaii, any advice? GIRLS AND GUYS PLEASE ANSWER?
You should come to stay for a visit first to see if Hawaii feels right to you. I love living here and everything about it, but i've heard from others (moved here from the mainland) that they feel traped here and end up missing their home life on the mainland. Also be prepared to work alot or get a good paying job in order to afford living here- unless you guys are already rich. Hope it works out!
Be yourself.
Goodluck. ;-)
I think you will get used to it.
Your a lucky duck[=
Have fun don't stress.
