Whenever I frequent lesbian clubs, the girls treat me like i'm invisible. I'll be at the dance floor bopping to the music and trying to put on a good show, while my friend grinds her hip for 10 seconds and the girls come flocking to her. And my friend and I stay apart from each other, so girls won't get the impression that her and I are together. She reminds me of the military girl from the L word.





I don't know if I have a ';straight look';, and maybe that's why i'm not getting the attention I crave or maybe i'm not attractive enough? I would identify myself as a ';rough femme'; I like having long hair, applying makeup, and wearing girly clothes although i'm not into skirts.

I not lesbian but you should get more into the skirts. I wear skirts almost everyday. I think you might attract more attention that way.
you should get a totally new look with new clothes like strip less shirts and mini skirts that's my advice for you.

maybe try going after a girl instead of waiting for them to come to you?

maybe your friend is just hotter

On the dance floor, it's a pretty free spirited place, the perfect opportunity. Go up to a group of girls and just start dancing, smiling, and introduce yourself.





You'll get nowhere if you wait for people to go up to you, because a lot of those girls are thinking the same exact thing.
