I have very curly/wavy hair, and I'm interested in straightening it every once and a while. My problem, is my straightener I currently have, is some one dollar straightener, which takes hours to get my hair even relatively straight, and within a few hours, sooner if it's humid, my hair goes really wavy, if not back to it's completely curly state. I want a good straightener, but I'm not planning on straightening my hair everyday, or even once a week. Maybe a few times a month. So I don't want to break the bank buying some brand name one;
I guess my question is, what's a good, fairly cheap straightener, that'll last, and where can I find it?Curly haired girl, needing advice :)?
revelon 2'' straightner its white with gold writing that says revelon on it i got mine from target for like $20 and ive had it for like 2 yrs.
its super good for what your paying.. :]Curly haired girl, needing advice :)?
Oh i have super curly hair and i use a chi straightner. they are the best you can find. my old ones (conair) made my hair puff and not even straight. you can get a chi on ebay, but i warn you, they are not cheap. 70 is the cheapest. but you have to make sacrafises to look fabulous. It also kind of depends on your hair thickness. My hair is thick, thus i need a good straightner, but i have thin haired curly friends and they just use conair, what ever works for you!
good luck!
So obviously a CHI won't be the best choice....I have an O.S.I or something we bought in the mall for like $75..yah my mom not me! My friend has a CONAIR or a BEDHEAD one that she likes. It was at walmart for like $35 or so.... they're getting more expensive though. Make sure that you have something to protect your hair from the heat!! Or else it will turn all frizzy and crinkled like mine!!!
GOOD LUCK!

I think target has some brands like you are looking for. I dont think that they are awesome but okay enough to use every few days
Im sorry to say but the best straighteners are going to cost the most. Chi is always a good brand, especially the black chi. Salon types may work as well, but the better the quality, the more it'll cost. If youre only going to straighten it about once every two weeks maybe you could borrow a friends? Also after you straighten your hair you might want to add in some hairspray to keep it that way longer. If youre going to a party, its bound to get hot, and humidity makes everyones hair wave that is naturally even the slightest bit wavy. Even my own does and mine is pretty straight other then a few troublesome waves. So dont expect your hair to stay straight if youre going somewhere hot unless you wear hairspray.
