Me and this guy have been friends for awhile early on in our friendship I started having feelings for him but I kept them hidden. One night alcohol got the best of me and when at a party I saw him with a girl that I really didn't like I stopped talking to him, wouldn't even look at him and he noticed. He then got others to ask me if I had feelings for him I like the idiot I am said no as I didn't want a bunch of people knowing and I didn't want to make things awkward. He was weird around me for awhile and then things went back to how they were. From a friend more of his than mine I found out a month after that the boy I had feelings for had them for me as well but didn't want to risk ruining our friendship so stayed quiet. Its months and months later but I still can't lose the feelings for him. I've tried everything to get over him keeping away from him, going to places he isn't and meeting new guys, have tried and tried to convince myself I'm over him but truth is I'm not. He keeps giving me signs or hints that he likes me but then stops and ignores me. There is a lot more to the situation but I'd like an outsiders opinion on whether you think there is something there. Also if anyone had any idea on why I can't get over him or new ways to try I would greatly appreciate it.

hey, i hate to tell you this but you will never truly get over him. trust me i have tried the same things you have, but i let him slip away from me. if he gives you signs that means he still has feeling for you and just because he stops doesn't mean anything its a guy thing. don't let he slip away from you trust me you think its hard now. if you think you can call him and ask him to talk and tell him how you feel.Stupid girl needing advice and direction?
quit playin hard to get and waitin for him to come to you....you want him go after him.....
